It's always cool to listen to everything ever done, however the barton hall '77 scar/fire is etched in stone as the top.

Everyone knows that it's true, but we never want to run out of possibilities. There is a finite number of versions. In my humble opinion, it's okay that there is an absolute best. It's a good thing.

Barton is one of the tightest and at the same time least interesting S>F's I've ever heard. There's way too little exploration in the guitar work for my taste. It actually bores me. IMO, there are at least three or four better versions from that month alone.
